Wishes to buy 30 hour hoop and spike clocks by the Gilkes, Fardon and Green Families and good original anonymous examples in the north oxfordshire quaker tradition. Tim and Kay Marshall have been specializing in 18th century country clocks from North Bucks since 1990, supplying clocks to the trade and discerning collectors alike. The aim is to offer clocks by interesting makers with a particular emphasis being placed on the originality of each clock. To give you an idea of the quality of our ever changing stock, over the years longcases by many well known country clockmakers have passed through our hands, these have included Jonas Barber, Wooley of Codnor, Joseph Cooper, Archer of Stow, the Owens of Llywryst and especially the Quaker Clockmakers of North Oxfordshire. We also like to stock the work of clockmakers local to North Bucks and the adjacent counties. Clocks offered for sale are either in unrestored condition or restored and conserved by local experts.
